STS-57 MS2 Sherlock with HFA-EPROC laptop computer in SPACEHAB-01 module
Description:
STS-57 Mission Specialist 2 (MS2) Nancy J. Sherlock, positioned in front of SPACEHAB-01 (Commercial Middeck Augmentation Module (CMAM)) aft lockers, enters data on a portable laptop computer in conjunction with Human Factors Assessment (HFA) Electronic Procedures (EPROC) experiment. Computer portion of HFA-EPROC simulated a space station propulsion system task. HFA-EPROC is sponsored by Crew Interface Analysis Section, Flight Crew Support Division, Space and Life Sciences Directorate, JSC. Working in the background in the shirt-sleeve environment of SPACEHAB-01 is Pilot Brian J. Duffy. SPACEHAB-01 is located in the payload bay (PLB) of the Earth-orbiting Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105.
